The Tennis Channel Open is a tennis tournament on the ATP International Series which was held for the first time in Las Vegas, Nevada from February 27 to March 5, 2006. In the men's singles final, James Blake defeated Lleyton Hewitt 7-5, 2-6, 6-3. The men's doubles title was won by Bob and Mike Bryan.

In April 2008, The Tennis Channel announced that it is selling the tournament to the ATP, which could take the event out of the city of Las Vegas.

[edit] 2008 tournament

The 2008 tournament was held from 3 March - 9 March at the The Amanda & Stacy Darling Memorial Tennis Center, and won by Sam Querrey, who beat South African Kevin Anderson (tennis) 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 giving Querrey his first ATP title. The doubles was won by Julien Benneteau and Michael Llodra 6-4, 4-6, 10-8 ending the three year reign of Bob and Mike Bryan.

In 2007 it was held from 26 February - 4 March at the The Amanda & Stacy Darling Memorial Tennis Center, and won by Lleyton Hewitt, who beat Jürgen Melzer 6-4, 7-6. The doubles was won by Bob and Mike Bryan.

The tournament has been in existence since 1986 located at the Scottsdale Radisson Resort. From 1987-2005 the tournament took place at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, where Andre Agassi was crowned champion four times.
