[edit] Promotion/Relegation from 2007/08 Season
- FC Thun was relegated to the Challenge League by finishing 10th.
- FC Vaduz finished first in the Challenge League.
- FC St. Gallen, who finished ninth in the Axpo Super League, lost 2-5 on aggregate against AC Bellinzona, who finished second in the Challenge League. So AC Bellinzona are promoted to the Axpo Super League while FC St. Gallen are relegated to the Challenge League.
