AC Lugano is a Swiss football club based in Lugano. It was founded in 2003 as a result of relegation and financial situation of FC Lugano, which was founded in 1908. They play at the Stadio Cornaredo.

The famous German coach Ottmar Hitzfeld spent 1978 through 1980 at the club as a player.
