[edit] Christianity vs. Athiesm

the answer to whether or not a diety exists is actually very simple. Take a look outside. See the trees, insects, birds, see the sky with tufts of evaporated water floating miles above us. Look at that and tell me if you still dont believe in intelligent design. God is real! The evidence is obvious everywhere.

But then look at it from an athiests point of view: "If there was a God, why would he give us free will? he could simply control us like humans control robots." The answer to that question is just as simple. God is a kind and loving God. He would not want to control his most loved creations to not be able to think for ourselves. Just as a father or mother would never want their most loved creation(their children) to be controlled by them. They would want them to be their own person and think for themselves. The evidence is everywhere. You only need to accept it.

[edit] Adoption

I'll totally adopt you! I was looking for a Christian to adopt! I'll get some tips for you as soon as I can!-- Barkjo 20:13, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Tips

Tips!

  • You graduate from the Adopt-a-User program when you feel confident to edit on your own.
  • Vandalism is when a user changes something good on a page to something bad or disrubtive.
  • Rollbacks are users who use a special tool to revert vandalism quicker.
  • Sysops are users who can block users, delete, protect, and un-protect pages, and make other users rollbacks. They can also rollback.
  • Bureacrats are users who can do the same things as sysops, but, in addition, they can make other users bots, sysops, and other bureacrats.

In addition: Here are the 25 most recent changes in Wikipedia; some people like to use this as a tool to search for vandalism:

Here are some tasks you can do:

I hope you find the links helpful! If you need any more info, you can ask at at my talk page. Editorofthewikireview my edits here! 22:49, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, I technically cannot adopt anyone, since I had a block in the last 6 months... but let's forget the burecracy and start editing! Editorofthewikireview my edits here! 23:03, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] More adoption tips

  • There are many "vandalism" reverting programs, such as Twinkle and Lupin's anti-vandal tool. Though these help a lot, you should try manual vandalism-reverting first.
  • If your talk page gets too busy, archive it. To see an example of an archive, see big-name editors here, like Jimbo Wales's talk page. It has a couple archived talk pages.
  • WikiProjects are groups of users specializing in one subject. Here's an example one: Wikipedia:WikiProject Rock music.
  • Barnstars are awards on Wikipedia. Look at various user's userpages to see some.
  • Have fun editing Wikipedia! Remember, be bold!

  • Also, I would suggest that you slow down your edits in your Userpage. Try contributing to the mainspace (that's the part that doesn't have a prefix) and try to create a WP:DYK? or promote an article to Featured or Good article status. If you can't think of anything, click here or ask me, as I am pretty loaded right now. Editorofthewikireview my edits here! 14:43, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Autoblock of 71.63.25.160 lifted or expired.

[edit] Answers to your questions

  1. The source code for my navbar is located at http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Editorofthewiki/Navigation&action=edit If you want to, I can create a Navbar for you.
  2. A subpage is a page that is seperated from its "mother page" by a forward slash (/). An example of a subpage is found at User:Example/Lipsum. They are disabled in the article namespace.
  3. Do not put an article on FAR until it is already a featured article. Take a look at Wikipedia:Featured articles do determine if you think it should be featured or not. Then, you copy {{fac}} onto the talk page and save. It gets taken to Wikipedia:Featured article candidates, where users get to vote whether the article should be featured or not. After about a week or so, if there is enought consensus that the article should be featured an admin closes the debate and a bot adds a little starat the top of the page (like at Lazare Ponticelli) and the article may appear on the Main Page.

I hope this helps. If you have any more questions just let me know. Editorofthewikireview my edits here! 19:17, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

You simply click "edit this page" and edit! Editorofthewikireview my edits here! 18:10, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
