[edit] Powers and Abilities
Is it possible to address the TK they possess? It is only overtly stated in Phoenix Warsong that the Cuckoos have developed telekenisis. However, since the issue of causing physical damage with psi powers is addressed in Emma Frost's profile, I noticed that in "Riot at Xavier's" the Cuckoos are surrounding the giant globe and walking while it hovers between them, dropping when everyone's attention is focused on Quentin Quire's announcement. As well, when Sophie and the other Cuckoos stop Quentin, they are heralded by blowing through a wall and onto the school grounds, and later blasting Quentin with a psychic attack that causes various debris to fly around. While I personally feel that there were merely artistic decisions to give the depictions more energy, it may be fodder for evidence of telekinetic powers that aren't just based in the Phoenix's possession. What do you think?Luminum 07:48, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] TK tap!
i think that the cuckoos tk is a tap out of there telepathy acording DR macoy (beast) there is a thin line between TK and TP(telepathy)same thing happend to jean while she was in emma Frost`s bodie she tapped into TK and during the riot sophie was high on "kick",using cerebro and under stress and thats why the cuckoos had TK, so thats what i think --Cerebra 14:58, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Diamond form!
i wish someone would add a pic of the Cuckoos in there diamond form, i havent seen it yet and i really want to. --Cerebra 15:10, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
I think because the Cuckoos haven't registered it significantly as a power outside of Warsong, it probably won't get a picture. Besides, what was depicted wasn't that impressive. They basically drew the Cuckoos and colored them silver/grey.Luminum 04:05, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Last name crissis
because the cuckoos are emma`s kids should there last name be frost? i dont want it to be but still its a bit of a point--Cerebra 19:40, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
Because the official sources still list them as surname "Cuckoo", I think that's how they'll remain.Luminum 04:01, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] celeste in charge
would u say that celeste is the new domminent cuckoo after the events of warsong? i would --Cerebra 19:59, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] ??????????
did someone change the bit about celeste--Cerebra 17:27, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ova/Clones
Could we keep the section concerning the question about the Cuckoo's genetic origins, since it is true that an ova cannot be used to duplicate an individual? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Luminum (talk • contribs) 21:34, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hearts of Diamond - can someone clarify?
I'm wondering if anyone can clarify the section on the Cuckoos' diamond hearts keeping them from feeling emotions? Since the heart is a biological organ that controls circulation of oxygen in the blood and NOT emotions, it wouldn't make much sense that they cannot feel emotions if their HEART is now diamond. Are they being figurative? If so, then what the heck do they really mean? Cheers. Gnosis1185 (talk) 16:29, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
- You've stumbled on one of the many issues with the entire Phoenix: Warsong story. It makes no sense that they could be partially organic and partially diamond, since they would die. One could imagine that it is figurative, if the comic didn't actually show a Phoenix fragment trapped in a physical diamond heart. Basically, it makes no sense. The only way it could be rationalized is saying that due to the fact that they can turn into organic diamond, they can survive turning parts of their bodies into diamond. But basically, it's a heinous mystery.Luminum (talk) 23:24, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
