Steiner Hardie is a major character from the anime, Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket. Hardie is an experienced Zeon veteran. Steiner Hardie is captain of the Cyclops Team during the One Year War. His best friend, Andy Strauss was killed during the assault on the Earth Federation's Arctic base. Shortly thereafter, Colonel Killing assigns Hardie's team to Operation Rubicon. Steiner realizes that his team is not expected to succeed at capturing Gundam Alex but are merely pawns in Killing's larger plans. Steiner Hardie is shot in Libot's Federation base during Operation Rubicon. Bernie saves Hardie and brings him to a clearing away from the base where he eventually dies.
