I think my father Attilio Villa is from this small commune (Staiti) or he may have been from a small commune nearby called Motticella. He was born in April 1890. I have tried desparately to find information about any of his existing family members (brothers/sisters/cousins) but have had no success. I plan to travel to Italy in 2007 and visit the area. If anyone can give me any clues or assist me in my search for information about my father I would greatly appreciate any help. Please share any ideas you may have to assist me with my search. Thank you.
