Spotlight can refer to at least three types of lighting:
- a searchlight;
- stage lighting used in theatre to focus an audience's attention on a performer or event, known as a Followspot;
- a type of stage lighting instrument designed to put light in a small area versus a floodlight which would fill a large area with light.
- spotlight (computer graphics), a directed point light.

"Spotlight" Also refers to: Spotlight the game. Much like Hide-and-seek, except at night and with, a spotlight. 2 or more players. One has a flashlight, the others hide. The person with the flashlight either counts to 50 slow or 100 fast.
The dictating on who is "It" is either depended on "rock,paper,scissors" or "1,2,3 not it" the last person to say "1,2,3 not it" is it.
