Southgate is a shopping centre in the Sydney suburb of Sylvania, in the state of New South Wales, Australia.

Southgate has a variety of shops and services including supermarkets, a discount department store, delicatessen, bakery, liquor shop, butcher, seafood shop, clothing shops, surf shop, jewellers, hairdressers, newsagents, banks, post office, optometrist, cafes and a food court.

Located below the Southgate Shopping Centre building is an AMF Bowling Centre. Adjoining the Southgate Shopping Centre, on Princes Highway, is Freshworld, a Fitness First gym, a McDonalds, the Crest Hotel and bottle shop. Recently a new Subway Store has opened directly under the Crest Hotel where the old pizza shop was.

Southgate is located on the corner of the Princes Highway and Port Hacking Road, Sylvania. It is near Tom Ugly's Bridge.

Southgate has an underground carpark, street level carpark and rooftop carpark.

Southgate is serviced by Veolia NSW routes 970, 971 and 972. These routes service Hurstville Station, Blakehurst, Sylvania Waters, Sylvania Heights and Westfield Miranda.
