hi I'm Michelle and live in Brisbane, Australia but am originally from Sydney, hence my numerous edits on Sydney topics. I have also lived in Gothenburg, Sweden on student exchange.

I am a believer of people sticking to Wikipedia guidelines and the philosophy that anyone from any location can contribute. Just as I can contribute to overseas articles, I welcome overseas editors to take a scan over Australian articles. This way we can build the strength of articles.

One thing I don't like is when editors display WP:OWN. No one owns articles on Wikipedia and no one can dissuade other legitimate editors from contributing. There is no hierarchy for more "experienced" or "qualified" editors.

My favourite principle is Wikipedia is free content that anyone may edit.
