South Wonston is a village on the outskirts of the City of Winchester district of Hampshire, England. The population of the village was estimated to be 2,818 people living in an estimated 1,026 households according to the census of april 2001.

South Wonston Primary School is situated in the centre of the village off Downs Road. Attached to the school is the church of St Margaret's.
[edit] Recreation Ground
The recreation ground is situated to the south east of the village. In the car park of the recreation ground there is a recycling centre for plastics, glass and clothes. There are two football pitches, a tarmac tennis court, a pavilion, a bike track, basketball court and a play park. The car park is accessed from west hill road south.

There is a village shop/post office in the centre of the village opposite the school.
