Indeed. It needs a clean up as well.ARBIH 21:14, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Seems like some people have very little patience. They deleted the article after 2 days being released. That's why we now have to start from scratch again. OhanaUnited 05:34, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
There is more informnation being added i will try and add some as soon as SF comes back online.
We should try look for photos as well as reviews into here to save it from being deleted again. OhanaUnited 15:58, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
funny how when i made a soldier front page, i had enough votes to keep the page up but it was still deleted anyway.Philanthropy 22:20, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
The Navy Seals are not a playable force in Soldier Front. Also a while back I did some sprucing up of the article and I am glad to see it's mostly the same after I fixed it. I'm just sad that you guys erased my nice opening paragraph, it was so informative too and FYI This isn't a tactical shooter, Gunbound is, Soldier front is a faced paced FPS.
-Demoman 17:18 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Well, I got my ideas from the CS article and I used my own knowledge and common sense in updating it, so there might be some inconsistecies.
However, SF is a tactical shooter.
Quote from Tactical Shooter: In multiplayer games, the term can have a different meaning. A multiplayer tactical shooter focuses on team cooperation to achieve objectives, rather than simply eliminating the enemy (as in traditional deathmatch games). The tactical emphasis is thus on joint goals and assisting team members, rather than on overcoming realistic individual limitations. --Gyrel 00:46, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
Good to see that this article is no longer up for deletion by the weenie patrol. I don't have much exp with wikipedia, but let me know if I can help. PinoyGenius 17:53, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
Geez, they are at it again, trying to delete our page with the same delition notice from April, FYI it's may. We need to fix this up a bit, no choppy descriptions and we need a much bigger opening paragraph that sums up the game as a whole.

Added the release dates of the closed and open beta into the infobox Beachy105 15:36, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Whoever dded th AWP group, the AWP is a weapon not a group, the group in the picture is the SDU "Special Duty Unit". I'm deleting the AWP group now, when in doubt visit the webpage: http://pmang.sayclub.com/specialforce/specialforce_frame.nwz?mKey=7&sKey=0 --Demoman 16:50, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

It's not on the delete list anymore...(^_^)--Gyrel 23:50, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
Got rid of the "Cheating" section...people don't hack or glitch very often anymore, thank god. --Gyrel 23:59, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
I just added the link to the Chinese version of SF, i just found it today! --Demoman 18:39, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
I added 2 new teams, I found them on the Taiwan SF site. I also added a link to the Taiwan SF site! --Demoman 18:39, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

Okay I have just added the maps tell me what you guys think! --yctaabpjic October 11 2007

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:SF Screenshot 1.PNG
Image:SF Screenshot 1.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Whoever added LFC, that was NEVER announced for SF sorry. - Demoman —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.185.171.156 (talk) 14:44, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:01, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Weapons
It would be great if somebody could put into this article each weapon, categorize each weapon (sniper, automatic, etc) and also put the upcoming weapons. Thanks.
- A good example of what weapons to include into the article is CounterStrike. Try to avoid in-universe writing. OhanaUnitedTalk page 15:22, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- Counter-Strike is a poor example. Practically all of the information is an unsourced rant about how realistic the weapons are. Most games don't require any explanation of their items other than a brief statement about what they cover. Extensive lists of weapons are against WP:NOT, in that they are indiscriminate collections of information that serves little use to the casual reader. --Scottie_theNerd 15:58, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sources
The only issue with this page is that the only real source of info for SF is the actual homepage, and even the information in SF Story and Game Guide are horribly sparse. Most of the info that we put in is from our own knowledge because no page on the Web explains how armor is rented or guns deteriorate... That's why there's one or two references. Also, any more clan advertisements will be deleted promptly. --FPS Tony 15:49, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
- To top that off, there are many immature people, or those that don't know how to edit wikipedia. The article should be closed to unregistered or new users. Snipingkid 06:55, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
-
- I'm an unregistered user, but I'm an avid Soldier Front player. Whenever I check on SF's wikipedia entry, I always find my edits have be replaced with vague explanations with horrible vocabulary. Why does this always happen?--anonymous SF player
[edit] Cheating
I read in here there used to be a section about cheating, exploiting of glitches, etc. Add it in again. Seriously. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.205.67.9 (talk) 02:24, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
