Smooth Network

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Smooth Radio is a brand of radio stations in the United Kingdom owned by GMG Radio. The managing director of the brand is Roy Bennett.

The name of the stations in the North West and London was Smooth FM until March 26th 2007. The format of Soul and Jazz was changed to music that was once described as "middle of the road".

Following owners Guardian Media Group's acquisition of the three Saga stations, they decided to change the name of them, along with the North West England and London versions of Smooth FM, to simply Smooth Radio.
