The Smeal College of Business is the business school of Penn State University, University Park, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1953, and is named after Mary Jean and Frank Smeal. The College offers undergraduate, graduate, doctoral degrees, including an MBA Program, an Executive MBA Program, and a Master of Manufacturing Management. The college is accredited in business and accounting by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

The Smeal College of Business has six academic departments. (Accounting, Finance, Insurance and Real Estate, Management and Organization, Marketing, Supply Chain and Information Systems).[1]

Since its inception in 1953, more than 65,000 students have graduated from the college. Currently it has more than 5,500 students at all levels.

James B. Thomas became the school’s dean in July 2006.
