[edit] Runaways

I'm preety sure that lucy in the sky married a shape shifting lesbian skrull in Runaways? (damned that soundds stupid)jackchen123

[edit] Chronology?

To make matters even worse, the Skrull Empire was the first of the major interstellar empires to be invaded in the Annihilation event. The Annihilation Wave has laid waste to much of the Empire, with its superweapon, the Harvester of Sorrow, destroying such Skrull planets as Zaragz'na.[18]

In desperation, the Skrulls have sought out a Skrull-Kree hybrid raised on Earth, Hulkling, son of the late Princess Anelle, to be Emperor.

I'm pretty sure YA occured before Annihilation. --DrBat 02:42, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Yes it did. —Lowellian (reply) 16:08, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Normal/Eternal branch

I remember one comic that guest stared a Skrull from either the "Normal" or "Eternal" branch. He could not shapeshift. Instead, he had molecular control over others. His presence ignited the anger of a local Skrull. In defense, the non-Deviant Skrull liquified the Deviant Skrull. I think the name of the comic was Bloodsport (Darkblud, Bludscream or something like that).

Can anyone confirm?

[edit] Plagiarism?

Almost all of this entry has just been lifted and cut and paste from http://experts.about.com/e/s/sk/skrull.htm

Not good.

  • Nope. It's the other way around. Check the bottom of the about.com page. Doczilla 06:46, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
This Wikipedia article is not plagiarism. About.com copied their article from Wikipedia. —Lowellian (reply) 05:56, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notable Skrulls

Recommend adding a list of notable Skrulls. There are currently two active Earth-based Skrull heroes (the half-Skrull Hulkling of the Young Avengers, and Xavin the Super-Skrull-in-training of the Runaways), and a few others who have played a significant role in the recent history of the MArvel Universe. 207.31.229.4 15:30, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

I've culled the list as for a Skrull to be "notable" they really need to have appeared more than once and done something substantial. Also removed the list of planets as it was simply a list of names of Skrull planets, which in itself is not notable. The Skrull homeworld is mentioned in the article.

[edit] Better Pictures

This article is in serious need of better pictures. We get two pictures of comic book covers, both maybe 20 or 30 years old, one of which doesn't mention skrulls or show what could verifiably be described as a skrull...it's just vision punching some figure whose skin, face, and features can't be seen. Just awful. Is "fair use" killing Wikipedia this badly? This is an article about a fictional alien race, yet it shows almost no visual examples of physiology, difference between sexes, races, etc... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.9.23.139 (talk) 18:14, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Avengers96.jpg

Image:Avengers96.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Hank Pym

I have removed text suggesting that Hank Pym was the Skrull seen at the end of Avengers: The Initiative Annual #1. We know Hank is a Skrull, we know there is a Skrull at Camp Hammond and we know that "Hank" works there. It does not necessarily follow that they were the same person. There may be other Skrulls other than Pym (and Crusader) at the base. Hermiod (talk) 15:19, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Cadre K

Darci (talk) 12:10, 5 June 2008 (UTC) Someone has redirected the link to Cadre K to point back to the Skrull article. This doesn't seem very efficient. If there's no reason to have a Cadre K article, just turn the link into plain text. If there's going to be a Cadre K article in the future, just leave the page open so it appears as a red link. My $0.02...

Unfortunately, Cadre K has been merged here as a result of an AFD. This is not to say it can't be undone, but you need something like the deletion review process to undo it... good luck. :) It would be nice to be able to add to the article, with their upcoming involvement in the Secret Invasion and all... 67.162.108.96 (talk) 12:51, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
