Jacob ("Sjaak") Troost (born August 28, 1959 in Pernis, Zuid-Holland) is a former football defender from The Netherlands, who earned four caps for the Netherlands national football team. He was a member of the Dutch team that won the European title at the 1988 European Football Championship in West Germany, although he didn't play under manager Rinus Michels. He made his debut for Holland on September 9, 1987, in a friendly match against Belgium (0-0).
Troost played his whole professional career for Feyenoord Rotterdam, for which he played a total number of 329 competition matches, in which he scored five goals. He retired in 1992, after having made his debut for the club on November 12, 1978 against FC Volendam. Later on Troost became the commercial director of Feyenoord.
