Hubertus ("Berry") Aegidius Hermanus van Aerle (born December 8, 1962 in Helmond, Noord-Brabant) is a former Dutch footballer.
He played right back or right midfielder at PSV Eindhoven and the Dutch national team during the 1980s. Debuting for PSV in May 1982, he played 278 league matches for this club until 1994, when he finished his career with one season in Helmond Sport. The 1986/87 season Van Aerle was loaned to Antwerp. He became Dutch league champion in 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991 and 1992 as well as winning the 1988 European Cup.
Van Aerle was capped 35 times between 1987 and 1992. He helped win the Euro 1988 tournament and also featured at the 1990 FIFA World Cup and Euro 1992. After retiring he has worked as a talent scout for PSV and as a mailman in Helmond.
