Rob Witschge (born August 22, 1966 in Amsterdam, North-Holland) is a former football midfielder from The Netherlands, who earned 30 caps for the Netherlands national football team, in which he scored three goals. He was a member of the Dutch team at Euro 1992 and the 1994 FIFA World Cup.
Witschge made his debut for the Netherlands on January 4, 1989, in a friendly against Israel (0-2). He played for Ajax (1985-89), AS Saint-Étienne (1989-91), Feyenoord (1991-96), FC Utrecht (1996-98), and Al-Ittihad (1998-99). In 2004 he became the assistant of Marco van Basten and John van 't Schip at the Dutch national team.
Witschge will become Ajax' assistant coach together with John van 't Schip, under head coach Marco van Basten starting from 2008/09 season [1].
Rob is the older brother of fellow Dutch international Richard Witschge (born 1969).
