[edit] Any chance you can get a picture of Edward M. Cotter (fireboat) in Buffalo?
I saw you uploaded a picture of the Sullivans, so thought it might be possible. Thanks either way dm (talk) 03:01, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Explain the undo
It would be appreciated if you could explain why you undid my last entry in the Buffalo, NY page. The entry is neutral. Is based on the available data. Is relevant to putting in perspective the recent troubled history of the city and the industrial cities of the region. In particular, you gave no rational for why it should be undone.
I'm going to revert the edit for now. You're welcome to improve on it or we can open a Talk discussion on the page so we can get the community's view. Newtwowiki (talk) 03:17, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
I really don't know how the heck Wiki's 'talk' thing works, I hope you see this. I see; I replaced the portion you sighted with more neutral language, I hope it is more suitable. Thanks Newtwowiki (talk) 17:36, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Edward M. Cotter (fireboat)
Hi. I happened to just sees that you mentioned possibility of getting a photo of this ship, to Dmadeo. I recently have uploaded a historic black and white photo of it, coincidentally. But, by all means, I would really like to see a set of current, color pics of the boat to include in the article. Several pics would be nice. Please do continue! doncram (talk) 22:28, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Wilhelm Gustloff (ship)
No - 'personnel' is correct. Philip Trueman (talk) 11:22, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Pennsylvania Railroad Steam Locomotive -4483 (1).jpg
Hi! I'm writing an article about 2-10-0 locos for Live Steam magazine and would like to use your photo as an illustration. Is the credit line "Wikipedia photo by Shinerunner, GNU license" OK, or would you like to have your real name printed in the photo credit? Greetings, --Janke | Talk 09:14, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply. I have a few other articles in line for this bi-monthly magazine, so it looks like it won't appear until the November 2009 issue. I can send you a PDF of the page with the photo before that, if you wish. Thanks for letting me use the photo! Greetings, --Janke | Talk 12:39, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Template:Infobox Windmill
Hi, it looks great! Many thanks for fixing it, I really didn't understand the instructions and couldn't make it work. I'll try and add it to an article and see what it comes out like. Mjroots (talk) 06:47, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Found a better image for Mr. Denton on Doomsday
Here's an image (scroll down) also at the Twilight Zone Museum that better expresses the poor drunk being bullied in the Old West theme of the episode. Can you replace it? I can do it myself but you've already done the upload once, so I figured I'd ask first. 5Q5 (talk) 15:54, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
