Good article

I suppose one of the things that people might respond to is the high count of redlinks in the article. I would suggest making articles for many of these topics, or delinking them until they have been made. Just a thought. --Kukini hablame aqui 02:29, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Pennsylvania Railroad

Actually yeah, a peer review is a great idea especially if this is your first attempt at a GA-class article. They can help you with all the pesky little details, copyediting, formatting, referencing, and substantive issues, but they usually have a decent backlog so it might take a week or two for someone to get around to it. Re: Pennsylvania Railroad

Absolutely, I think it's worthy of GA at this point. I've made a few quick style edits to the footer sections and made a quick run through the images to check the licensing statuses (and updated a couple where necessary); I'll try to make some more time later this weekend to go through the references that aren't inlined and inline them as appropriate (I remember adding them in the first place). Nice job! Slambo (Speak) 15:34, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I saw that too a while ago. I somewhat agree that photos of PRR signals would be more appropriate, so I haven't been too quick on the revert. However, I also agree that showing images of similar signals from other systems is appropriate until we can get PRR-specific signal images. Slambo (Speak) 11:58, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:It's a Good Life.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:It's a Good Life.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:52, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:One for the Angels.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 18:20, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Twilight Zone

Just a quick note of thanks for your extensive work on the "Twilight Zone" episode pages. They're looking really good! Travisl (talk) 22:52, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Regarding your layout changes: I was hesitant with your changes at first, and almost started to undo them, but you had done so much work -- and it wasn't bad, just different than I'd suggested in the WikiProject -- that I figured I'd let you run with it and see where it went; I sure wasn't doing any better. I'm very pleased with how they're looking, although still hesitant about the elimination of the season list of episodes. Unlike most TV series, there's no continuity between episodes, so the sequence of them doesn't matter. It does, however, keep it consistent with most other TV shows' layout, so I'm definitely OK with it.
You should really modify the WikiProject to update the proposed style guide to match your style. I'd throw my support behind it. Travisl (talk) 01:47, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:It's a Good Life.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:It's a Good Life.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:05, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Responding

You might want to check the comments of the user who reverted you here: Talk:Buffalo wings. You can respond there and work something out with the other editors, likely. Kukini hablame aqui 19:56, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Good work! Cheers, Kukini hablame aqui 05:59, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Precisely...and you seem to have handled it very well. --Kukini hablame aqui 16:21, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

RE: Twilight Zone Userbox

I have to say, those userboxes look great! I particularly like the one implementing the Rod Serling picture. I had been thinking about coming up with a userbox for the Twilight Zone Wikiproject myself—something along the lines of "This user knows that it's a cookbook"—but your ideas look much better. Props! :-) — Cinemaniac (talkcontribs) 19:53, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Aw, man! I really liked the one with the Rod Serling image! Oh, well. . . it'll do! Thanks! — Cinemaniac (talkcontribs) 22:57, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Twilight Zone Wikiproject

Hi, thanks for the invite but unfortunately I can't spend as much time on Wikipedia as I would like and the next few months, I'll be hardly on here at all. There is no point in signing up for something I'll have almost zero input with. Best wishes. MegX (talk) 23:42, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Image:106th Field Signal Battalion.jpg‎ question

My question is what was wrong with the image information. It was the first one I uploaded (aside from the one I screwed up before) and need to find out what I did wrong. Thanks in advance. Leobold1 (talk) 05:13, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Yamagata_u_logo.jpg: Thanks!

Thank you for removing "orphaned tag" and correcting the information. I didn't become aware of the warning message. Thanks so much! Bluebeam (talk) 13:03, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

I don't Understand

You posted a non-free image warning on an image. But it is from the Commons. Surely this is free? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dvorak (wtkwhite) (talkcontribs) 14:42, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Image:OregonTerritorySeal outer.png

I was wondering why you changed the copyright info on this image? Aboutmovies (talk) 16:19, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Actually, are you sure you corrected it? This entity no longer exists, and has not for almost 150 years? Further, as a work of the US federal gov (it was a federal territory) it should be PD unless there was a special law passed visa vi the one for the CIA, correct? Aboutmovies (talk) 22:12, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Listing images at PUI

When you list images at WP:PUI, please give a better reason than "reason this image is non-free" otherwise it creates a lot of work for no reason. Thank you for understanding. MECUtalk 18:30, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Rolex Sunken Road 1242.JPG

What is the problem with Image:Rolex Sunken Road 1242.JPG? I am the holder of the copyright and have stated how it should be licensed: both of these things are listed clearly, as I did with all my other photos when added to Wiki.

I don't know what else you want!!!
