Shady Mohamed (Arabic: شادي محمد) (born August 3, 1978) is an Egyptian footballer. He plays the Defender position for Egypt's African Super Cup Championship club el-Ahly as well as Egypt national football team. He is the current captain of the team. Although his playing style wasn't attractive, his physical abilities helped him become a regular starter for more than eight consequetive years. Shady is known for his great speed, concentration and outstanding physical fitness.

Shady initially joined El-Ahly as a left wing back replacement for former international Mohamed Youssef. However, his limited dribbling abilities and high defensive awareness assigned him to the team's defense. Throughout the years, several Ahly coaches and trainers have used Shady as a regular starter, making him one of the most participating players in Ahly history along with Essam el Hadary. However, during a match in the 2006 African champions league round of 16, Essam was blamed for two goals scored in his net. Thus, the captain's badge was taken from Hadary and given to Shady Mohamed until the present day.
