Saffron Walden is a parliamentary constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

The constituency is based around the town of Saffron Walden, in North-West Essex. Other major conurbations within the boundaries are Dunmow and Halstead. Occupying nearly 400 square miles, Saffron Walden is the largest constituency, by area, in Essex.[1]
