Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user talk (discussion) page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. A third option is to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator.
One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. [edit] November 2007
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Ruben Studdard, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. Aspects 15:44, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Carrie Underwood discography. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 03:03, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Melissa O'Neil - Album.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Melissa O'Neil - Album.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 17:21, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Girls Aloud. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. ~~ [Jam][talk] 13:43, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thank you. In all of your edits, you have only used the edit summary once. Please use the edit summary so other people know why you are making the changes you are making. Aspects (talk) 20:56, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked
Your continuing violations of our policy on image use has earned you a block. Please use this time to read and understand WP:IUP. Your contributions to Sugababes have been reverted as they blatantly violated this policy. --Yamla (talk) 16:30, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Bolding #1's
Please don't bold #1's in discographies, as it violates WP:CHARTS. Thanks. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 17:35, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Rihanna discography
Again, please do not boldface chart positions (number-ones) per WP:CHARTS and WP:NPOV. - eo (talk) 22:38, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Album certifications
Hi. Before you add any album certifications to an article, you should look it up first on the BPI's website and then add the bpi page it's listed on as a reference. Shayne Ward's debut album only went single-platinum. anemone│projectors 18:26, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] January 2008
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did to Girls Aloud discography, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please do not introduce incorrect album certifications into articles. Sound of the Underground has been 2x certified platinum, and Sound of Girls Aloud has been 3x certified platinum. Please check the BPI website before changing certification information in future. ~~ [Jam][talk] 17:11, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] February 2008
Please make note of our guidelines about non-free content. We are not permitted to use album covers on articles about the artist when those images are being used on the album articles. If you continue to add them to other articles, you could be blocked from editing. --Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 02:44, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Kate DeAraugo2.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Kate DeAraugo2.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Image use policy
Ryan, I know that this has been brought up with you before, but have you familiarized yourself with our image use policies? Your recent edits [1] [2] and uploads raise concern. Please undo the image use violations; I would rather not see you blocked for this again. Also, while I'm here, could I ask you please to use the "show preview" button? Your multiple changes to articles such as Eva Avila are unnecessary and it is often unclear what changes you are attempting, especially since you do not use edit summaries. Thanks, and do feel free to ask questions. --Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 22:21, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Flagicons
I removed the flagicons you added to Casey Donovan (singer), Kate DeAraugo, Ben Lummis and Rosita Vai. Please read Wikipedia:Manual of Style (flags) before adding flagicons to any more articles. Specifically, please read Wikipedia:Manual of Style (flags)#Not for use in locations of birth and death for not adding flagicons to represent the places people were born or died in. This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as the one you made to Katharine McPhee.
