[edit] Taylor Dayne

You're right, I meant to unprotect that. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. howcheng {chat} 00:22, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Weezer

You mean that the weekly chart highlights on Radio and Records/Billboard doesn't help? It shows that Pork and Beans is at number 1 on the Alternative/Modern Rock charts. {BravesFan2006} 02:11 PM, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Another question I have the page where I said Weezer was number one. Can I repost my article on Wednesday afternoon when Billboard publishes its chart? Also if you can, you could help me with the succession box. {BravesFan2006} 02:26 PM, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hard Candy possible single

I actually bought the album myself, so thats how i know about the possible single. I dont know how i can possibly cite that, though. I am well aware of the Wikipedia guidelines, just so you know. - JJVrocks (talk) 01:04, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Boom Boom

Hey there, I have a favor to ask, and you seemed like the logical choice for this, based on your extensive knowledge of dance music. A while back I created a page for the Paul Lekakis song, "Boom Boom (Let's Go Back to My Room)", since it's probably his best-known song, and one I remember fondly. Since then the page has been tagged for no references or sources. When I created it, I used info from the artist page as well as some info I got from various websites, which I didn't cite (and don't remember), but I believe most of what I posted is true. My question: do you have any sources that could verify this info, and if so would you mind doing so? I'm thinking specifically of the Billboard Hot Dance/Disco book, which I don't have, and I thought you might. Earlier tonight I added a link to the #1 Australian songs of the 80s, but any help you could give that page would be appreciated. Thanks. Zephyrnthesky (talk) 01:22, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

I figured you had that book, I want to get it too. I've added some things to that article, but one part I'm unsure about is if it didn't hit the Club Play chart when it first came out. Maybe there's a note about that somewhere in the book? Anyway, thanks in advance, man! Zephyrnthesky (talk) 01:16, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] RE:User Page

I don't understand why it can't go back to 106 & Park. Other Bot's didn't care, they fixed links and everything. And as I was sayng before I see things like that in an encyclopedia. So, please let me add it and keep it to 106 & Park please.

[edit] Again

Please, I am helping out a lot of Wikipedian's. Can you please just forget about it, and let me slide. In the nicest way possible I am asking you, please.

[edit] Billboard 200

I am disappointed that you reverted something I put on the Billboard 200 page. I consider myself to be a serious writer of content, not a troll. I checked my Talk and User pages, as well as the discussion for that page, but I found no explanation. I will put this back over the weekend if I don't get feedback by then. Hi Eric

Take A Bow is the 998th number one of the rock era using the same chronology used by Fred Bronson in his books. This means the 1000th will occur shortly...

These were the previous century number ones:

200 Jun 11, 1966 Paint It, Black The Rolling Stones
300 Oct 2, 1971 Maggie May Rod Stewart
400 Apr 5, 1975 Lovin' You Minnie Riperton
500 Apr 14, 1979 What A Fool Believes The Doobie Brothers
600 Dec 22, 1984 Like A Virgin Madonna
700 Jun 18, 1988 Together Forever Rick Astley

[edit] Shirley Bassey

Could I ask you to cast a critical eye on this article. In recent times, a relatively new user, Yesmissy, has been making a string of edits. I feel they are in danger of turning a half-decent Wikipedia article into a fansite; with POV, incorrect formatting, excessive use of bold type, and completely unsourced, biased comments creeping in throughout. It is not vandalism as such, but I think it is downgrading the whole article. However this is purely my view - (POV) again. Your second opinion would be much appreciated. Many thanks again,

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Bananarama Master Series.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Bananarama Master Series.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 19:57, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Forums

As you probably know, the ukmix forums are constantly used as a source for sales. I've made a proposal here about blacklisting it. Just thought you might be interested. Spellcast (talk) 19:14, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Madonna//Give It 2 Me

Hey, could you please take a look at User:JoFerg. He or she continues to upload a fanmade cd cover for the single, yet the link he or she provides as a source clearly states that its fanmade. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've marked the exact image for deletion. Alkclark (talk) 17:50, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sources for Yazoo

Hello, I'm trying to fully reference the Yazoo article. Do you happen to have the sources you used for adding some of the information? I would most appreciate it if you could add some formatted citations like I have done. Thanks! — Wackymacs (talk ~ edits) 07:43, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] B-52's

Hi, thanks for adding that tour info, do you have a citation for it? I've been putting in refs for this article over the past month trying to get it to pass "B" standard for the Georgia project, and they keep giving grief about not enough references. Every unreferenced addition is one more that someone else will have to track down. Rep07 (talk) 19:20, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] potentially controversial edit?

Michael Jackson's " Thriller" LP Has sold the most units of all-time. Thats common Knowledge. How is that in anyway controversial? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.232.153.118 (talk) 15:58, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

I added the electropop genre to Kiss Kiss and Clumsy because Chris Brown's and Fergie's voices are electronically enhanced in certain parts of the song!--Seán Travers (talk) 08:42, 30 May 2008 (UTC)Seán Travers

[edit] Cyndi Lauper

So are you saying that if it's not posted on the Internet then it doesn't count? Billboard for instance does not list its entire charts on-line. I can't use a printed source? I have the Early Edition Club Play charts but Billboard doesn't list them all on-line. Confused. Citations from non-Internet sources should be legitimate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chael39 (talkcontribs) 20:02, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hot100Brasil

[edit] Sticky & Sweet Tour

Hi, could you please take a look at Crackers2007 and his/her making edits to Sticky & Sweet Tour. He/She continues to add dates for Mexico, Brazil and Montenegro. The first time, he/she claimed that Madonna announced that dates on a Mexican talk show the 2nd+ times after, he/she provided a link to a site that doesn't mentioned Madonna. More recently, he/she claims that Live Nation announced the dates in a press release. I have contacted Live Nation and they have stated that there are no dates for Mexico or South America but they are in talks. I have warned him/her on their talk page but they deleted my comments. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dancefloor royalty (talkcontribs) 16:19, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
