This is a comprehensive listing of official releases by Girls Aloud, a British pop music group. Girls Aloud have released four studio albums, one compilation album, one remix album, eighteen singles and twenty-six B-sides on Polydor Records and its sub-label Fascination Records.
Girls Aloud were formed in November 2002 after winning the ITV1 talent show Popstars: The Rivals.[1] The following month they released their debut single "Sound of the Underground", which reached number one in Ireland and the United Kingdom. The group's debut album Sound of the Underground was released in May 2003, and it was quickly certified platinum.[2] Their second album What Will the Neighbours Say? was released in November 2004. The album produced four top five singles, including the number one single "I'll Stand by You". Chemistry, their third album, was released in December 2005. It was certified platinum in the UK, although it was lowest charting album for Girls Aloud.[3] In October 2006, the group released The Sound of Girls Aloud, a greatest hits album. The album debuted at number one and produced two top ten singles. Girls Aloud released their fourth album Tangled Up in November 2007.
