Rudersdal municipality

Rudersdal municipality is a municipality (Danish, kommune) in Region Hovedstaden in Denmark. It covers an area of 73 km² and in 2008 a total population of 53,869.
On January 1, 2007 Rudersdal municipality was created as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007), consisting of the former municipalities of Søllerød and Birkerød.
