[edit] User Marks
Please don't put your user mark ~~~~on the pages you edit, that's for talk pages. Alaney2k (talk) 18:24, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Spelling, grammar, and misc
You really need to pay more attention to spelling, grammar, and punctuation when you edit. Sometimes, your edits introduce relevant information, but the presentation is so poor that it does not improve the article. It is also very important that you stop signing your mainspace edits. Only add a signature if you make a talk page edit. Croctotheface (talk) 07:52, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, please stop just putting years in articles ungrammatically. Saying, for example, a player "won four Stanley Cups 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983" makes absolutely no sense. I realize your edits are in good faith, but you really are making a mess. Skudrafan1 (talk) 20:00, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'd also like to stress this, if you fail to make legible and productive edits, they are just going to be reverted. I have been trying to clean up some of your recent edits. Otherwise, we appreciate your expansion of wikipedia hockey entries. Thanks. -RiverHockey (talk) 23:19, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page 1953 Stanley Cup Finals worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox. Thank you. [edit] Editing style
You're getting much better, but still... please look over your writing before you submit it. Sentences like "In 1949 with Toronto Tod Sloan only 29 regular season game, and did not play in the playoffs" (here) feature (among other, more forgivable errors) obvious typos (game should be games) and missing words (...only played 29...). Easily avoidable mistakes such as this occur in almost all of your edits. When other editors have to follow you around and clean up after you, it keeps us away from contributing to the project in more productive ways.
Again, though, we thank you for your continued efforts to add information to hockey-related articles. We just ask that you use a bit more caution. Feel free to comment, respond, or ask questions at WP:HOCKEY or at my talk page. Thanks! Skudrafan1 (talk) 02:40, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] 1974 Stanley Cup Finals
Without MacAdam, there are only 30 names listed that are engraved on the Cup, but that is one short according to Legends of Hockey. Who is missing? --Ulf17 (talk) 09:28, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'm guessing it is Marcel Pelletier, Director of Player Personnel, since he is included in the team picture. --Ulf17 (talk) 11:39, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
