Reneil 'Ricky' Sappleton (born 8 December 1989, in Jamaica) is a Jamaican footballer, currently playing for Leicester City, having previously been a product of the Queens Park Rangers youth academy.
Before joining Leicester, Sappleton had a trial with Liverpool, and also joined Middlesbrough on a two week trial.[1] He came close to making his league debut against Colchester on November 3, but was left on the substitute bench.[2] Sappleton finally made his debut against Southampton on December 1, but couldn't prevent his side from losing 2-1 at the Walkers Stadium.[3]
