Andy King (born October 29, 1988 in Maidenhead, England) is an English-born Welsh football midfielder who plays for Leicester City in the Football League Championship.

King was a product of the Leicester City youth academy and was given a squad number for the 2006–07.[1] During the 2006–07 season, King scored eight goals in 21 appearances, which saw the Leicester academy side win the FA Premier League Group B.[2]

King was offered his first professional contract with Leicester on 5 May 2007.[3] He also went on trial with York City at the end of the 2006–07 season.[2] King turned down a move to York in August 2007.[4]

He made his Leicester senior debut in a 0–0 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Walkers Stadium on 2 October 2007. King scored his first ever goal on December 1 with an impressive 35-yard shot in a 2-1 defeat to Southampton at the Walkers Stadium.

King is a Wales U19 international. On 10 October 2007 King received his first call up to the Wales Under 21 squad.[5]
