Richard Kline (born April 29, 1944) is an American actor and television director. He is best known for playing the sleazy neighbor and used car salesman, Larry Dallas, on the hit '70s-'80s sitcom, Three's Company. Kline guest starred on The Nanny as himself in the early 1990s.
Kline was born Richard Klein in New York City, New York to Leah Klein.[1] He was raised in Queens by parents who practiced Reform Judaism.[2] He attended Queens College and has a Master of Fine Arts degree in theater from Northwestern University.
He is father of singer/actress Colby Kline. Kline was once struck by lightning, while he was doing military service in Vietnam.
