Re: CoSort
I don't understand why this page was deleted. I made the changes requested... and I added the holdon tag that is required. Did anyone actually review the changes that were made? What do I need to do to make this article okay? I've received feedback from other moderators and I've followed it. Please advise. Dkkrms (talk) 04:46, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks

SKYSHAPERS Foundation
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SKYSHAPERS_Foundation
Could you please help make some suggestions so that I could make the article seem less like an advertisement?
I thought statements like the ones below, along with others, qualified SKYSHAPERS Foundation as notable:
"With funding and distribution from the US government, SKYSHAPERS University has to date provided more than 20 percent of public elementary schools in the United States with SKYSHAPERS supplemental curriculum to boost academic achievement and motivation. [3] First endorsed by the U.S. Surgeon General, Dr. Antonia Novello in 1992, SKYSHAPERS materials have been used in more than 10,000 elementary schools reaching over 7.5 million children and their teachers across America. [4]"
Please advise Oshburg (talk) 19:19, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- I uploaded a smaller photo, SKY-F0UNDATION-LOGO-small.PNG, like you suggested for the SKYSHAPERS Foundation article. However, this did not shrink the image on the actual wiki page (so I left the original in place). Any suggestions on how to shrink the image?? Oshburg (talk) 20:17, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

- Thanks for the help with resizing the logo, I did not know there was a width code that could be included in the info box. I would still like to conform the article to wikipedia standards to remove the Ad Tag. I am trying to structure the article to show what the non-profit, with assistance from the government, does for the school system. Any further advice would be greatly appreciated.

- Also, I have been looking for a way to format the text in the infobox. The fifth line in the infobox is not correct, it needs to be aligned and looks out of place. Do you know how, or have a link to point me to where I can accomplish this?

Speedy declined by User:PeterSymonds. I took out the drinking part. Not sure it would survive a PROD. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 19:53, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Master of 1328
There's about six different "Master of [year]" artists listed, according to Answers.com. You'd think art historians could come up with something more original, no? Me, I think I prefer names like "Master of the Altarpiece of the Ten Commandments". No doubt what he was getting up to... --User:AlbertHerring Io son l'orecchio e tu la bocca: parla! 01:24, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Secret Dubai
Not only is it a popular blog , when it was blocked in the UAE , leading newspapers reported it including 7DAYS Reports. Now you can decide whether to delete it or not and reply on my talk page.--Roaring Siren (talk) 16:14, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Sorry for the ire.It was just that most of my pages keep getting deleted....I am really sorry. --Roaring Siren (talk) 16:23, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- This seems to assert notability. Left note with creator. Don't know if would survive AFD. It can be hard to establish sourcing with subjects in the Mideast. Dlohcierekim 16:33, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yup! The other half of the discussion was on her talk page where I notified her of the CSD. I've already removed it. Rob Banzai (talk) 16:34, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Beanie Babies Official Club
I don't think it was a good idea to nominate Beanie Babies Official Club for deletion, seeing as it has an {{inuse}} tag on. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 17:01, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think the 'inuse' makes a difference when the subject is not about to change, but I understand your point. :) Rob Banzai (talk) 17:02, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

- You should, on good faith, withdraw this deletion. I am really in the process of creating a series of article on Beanie Babies, and this is one of many. Beanie Babies are notable, and there are many references on them available that meet Wikipedia's guidelines, but most of them are not on the web. Also, there have been over 1000 different Beanie Babies made in the past 15 years, so the process of writing about them will take a long time. Given this high number, it is not practical to have articles on individual Beanie Babies, so I am creating articles about groups of Beanie Babies that fit into a number of categories. Category:Beanie Babies contains these articles. In the mean time, I have renamed this article to Clubby Beanie Babies per someone's suggestions. I have also added a few references.Xyz7890 (talk) 14:31, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, Xyz. I added a comment over at the AfD. It's not at all personal I just think that the Beanie Baby notability does not automatically rub off on any BB related subject. I am sorry if the AfD has caused you grief, it's not my intention. I just think the article is not going to stand on its own.Rob Banzai (talk) 15:29, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi, noticed you added a COI tag in the article. Just out of curiosity I did not understand how you realize about the COI there. What is the tool of Sherlock Holmes? Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 16:30, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
- The editor that created the article has the same name as the company the subject of the article founded. No special deductive powers required! Rob Banzai (talk) 16:33, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
