Raul José Trindade Meireles (spelling Raúl is common but wrong) (born 17 March 1983 in Porto) is a Portuguese football (soccer) midfielder, who plays for Futebol Clube do Porto and the Portuguese national team. Meireles plays as an all-around central midfielder, with excellent passing and long-range shooting.

In the UEFA Champions League 2006-07, Meireles scored in a deflected volley against Chelsea F.C. in a 1-1 draw at the Estádio do Dragão, as Porto went on to lose the tie 3-2 on aggregate.

Raul scored the second goal against Turkey during their opening game of UEFA Euro 2008 in a 2-0 win.
