[edit] All Star Imprint
If the All Star Superman imprint isn't canonical, then shouldn't it be left out? Odin's Beard 00:52, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Weaknesses
The intro to this section is a little questionable. Listing things Superman can't do is different than listing weaknesses. He can't breath underwater or change his skin color, but I don't think I'd count those as weaknesses. Are inability to donate blood, have surgery without special tools or "sweat under earthly conditions" really weaknesses? The same with the discussion on progeny. Doesn't seem to belong in the weakness section. Maybe this would be better suited for the main superman article (?). I recommend scrapping the whole intro and just jumping into the magic discussion. Anyone else? --CPitt76 03:51, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Not affected by Kryptonite?
In the recent film Superman Returns, Superman was able to lift an entire island made of Kyrptonite. I ask "How is this action possible?"
There's a lot about that movie that doesn't make much sense. I don't think that the entire island was made of Kryptonite however, but contained Kryptonite. The only substance that's supposed to be able to shield him from the stuff is lead right? The "island" or whatever it's called, was made up of those crystals and rocks right, so how'd that shield him from the effects? He was affected somewhat, but the effects took much longer to really pop up than in the previous films, or even in the comics from what I've read. You even show a tiny piece of Kryptonite to him, and he's always started to feel the effects instantly. That wasn't really the case in this movie, for some odd reason. [edit] Page branch
How the hell did this happen? This page has been split from Powers and abilities of Superman and the two identical pages worked on separately (as of June 29). I suggest the two pages get merged back together very quickly before it becomes a gigantic task. —EatMyShortz 02:28, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
