I was a student at Lafayette High School with Phil Seuling. Phil, along with Ronnie Sorvino, brother of Paul Sorvino, and myself belonged to the school's Mrs. Mackey's "Speaker's Bureau." Phil and Ronnie co-starred in Thorton Wilder's "Our Town" in our senior year. Phil was brilliant, completing the New York Times crossword puzzles in record time. He was the "life of a party"--always humorous and loved the comics. His sister, Barbara Seuling, is a well known children's author and lives in Burlington, Maine.

I understand he was married to Carol Seuling and has two surviving daughters. He is missed.
