I have removed the refernce to a relationship with Mary Hanafin because it was also removed from her page today. Here it is if need to be re-inserted.

In 2005 it was reported in the Ireland on Sunday newspaper that Carey has been in a relationship with the Minister for Education, Mary Hanafin.
