"Active politicians" are listed in here by adding {{WPBiography|activepol=yes|living=yes}} to the talk page. In the rarest of cases where the active politician message box applies but the article isn't within the scope of WikiProject Biography, {{activepolitician}} or {{activepol}} may be used.
"Active" means that the politician is in the media's eye enough for there to be an increased risk of vandalism or more sophisticated pro- and anti- PR edits to the attached article.
