Paige Bowen

Paige Bowen was a fictional character on the American soap opera General Hospital. She is the biological mother of Emily Quartermaine

Monica Quartermaine diagnosed with breast cancer in 1995, met Paige at a wellness center in Arizona. Paige was a widowed mother of an 11 year old Emily. Paige suffered from cancer for a long time and was a good friend and confidant of Monica. Monica went into remission but Paige's cancer recurred. She was very ill and only had a little time left. Monica brought Emily and Paige back to the Quartermaine mansion. When Paige died from her cancer Monica and Alan adopted Emily.
