Pace Airlines is an American charter airline based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA. It operates executive passenger and sports flight charters. Its main base is Smith Reynolds Airport, Winston-Salem. [1]

The airline was established on 2 January 1996 and started as Pace Airlines after Piedmont Aviation Services was granted Federal Aviation Administration and United States Department of Transportation approval on 26 March 1996. In December 2002, Bob Brooks, owner of the Hooters restaurant chain, announced that he had acquired the airline to operate under Hooters Air branding, although Hooters Air has since ceased scheduled operations,[2]
and only operates as public charters. Pace Airlines (Winston-Salem) has 458 employees (at March 2007).[1]

Pace offers ACMI leases to travel agents and scheduled charters. Pace currently operates flights for Apple Vacations and TeamJet Aviation, as well as the Dallas Mavericks.
