The 82d Fighter Group was NOT part of TAC. It was an SAC organization. This photo's origins are suspicious, in that I have scanned the original Kodachrome thanks to the cooperation of ex-82d pilot Bob Fogg. I suspect the image was pirated (from my website) and the information here regarding the aircraft being TAC resources is inaccurate.
