OC Transpo routes

OC Transpo is a public transit authority that operates about 250 bus routes in the Ottawa-Gatineau region of Canada. It also operates the O-Train.

These routes usually run all day long.

Downtown

Early morning trips operate between Greenboro and the Rideau Centre only.
Southbound early-morning trips travel via Bank Street instead of Southgate.
Some peak-period trips operate between the Rideau Centre and Billings Bridge only.
Extra service is also added between the Rideau Centre and Billings Bridge during special events that take place at Lansdowne Park.

2 Blair

During the day, every 2nd trip starts/ends at Westboro.
Some peak-period trips start/end at Bank/Somerset.
During the school year, there are a couple of special trips that start at
Collège Catholique Samuel-Genest and end at the Rideau Centre.

Some peak-period trips are shortened to operate between Merivale High School and the corner of Beechwood/Crichton in New Edinburgh. These trips travel via Sussex Drive in the AM peak, and MacKenzie Avenue in the PM peak instead of Rideau and Dalhousie.

4 Hurdman

During the school year, there are additional trips from both downtown and Hurdman for students at Carleton University.
5 Billings Bridge St. Laurent

Some trips serve Island Lodge near New Edinburgh.
Trips alternate either via Montfort or via Lavergne in Vanier.
Service to Heron Park has been replaced by new route 115.

14X Ottawa West ends at Carling/Holland in the AM peak.
There are also extra eastbound PM peak trips that start at Gladstone/Preston.

16 Alta Vista (CHEO/Ottawa General Hospital) Lincoln Fields

This route travels to the Ottawa Health Sciences Complex on Smyth Road.

Some trips travel via Regina Street directly to Lakeside Gardens instead of Cassels & Bradford.

Scotiabank Connexion 401-406 routes operates on all Ottawa Senators Games and on events or concerts of medium to large attendance (6,000 to over 10,000 attendance).

On small events or concerts (less than 6,000 attendance), the only Connexion 400 route that is operational is Route 404 from the Eagleson Park & Ride and Terry Fox Station.

The O-Train operates from 6:30a.m.-midnight Monday-Saturday and from 7:30a.m.-11:00p.m. on Sundays.
There is no service on Christmas Day or New Year's Day.

O-Train Greenboro Station Bayview Station Was expected to be extended to Barrhaven and the University of Ottawa but Ottawa City Council cancelled the project on December 14, 2006. A new east-west line was also planned in the near future but haven't been approved. Existing line is Interally numbered 750.
