A tag has been placed on B&I Nathan Furniture, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Nol888(Talk)(Review me please) 14:23, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Anna Sewell are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. Please refrain from doing this in the future. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you! [edit] Amwell Magna Fishery
thank you for categorising the page! but please, in the future, remove the uncategorised tags when you do so as they are no longer necessary!
[edit] Montague Rd School
A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Montague Rd School, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. B. Wolterding 12:53, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Maurice Norman
The website you cite doesn't quite hold up the article claim. It doesn't mention Charlton. Let's not split hairs - why not just lift the sentence from the website as a quote. --Dweller 13:23, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- I take it you're a Spurs fan. Have you joined the Football WikiProject? --Dweller 13:34, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- Amazing how many players have played for Spurs and the Canaries. Seems to have dried up in the last 8-10 years, but I can see Dean Ashton becoming a Spurs player one day. If only they'd not thrown all that money away on Bent... quite astonishing. --Dweller 13:58, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Lea Valley Walk
I've done some small form fixes to your article. Just thought I'd bring this to your attention: the route section is just a blob of text. You might make an effort to separate it into paragraphs, make it more in line with Wikipedia. Happy editing! -FateSmiled&DestinyLaughed 13:33, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hertfordshire Chain Walk
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Hertfordshire Chain Walk, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.ramblers.org.uk/info/paths/hertfordshirechain.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 11:14, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Chubs and Disambiguation
Greetings. Recently, on Tue 16 Oct, I constructed a disambiguation page for the various fish known as chubs. After having done so, I began to contemplate whether that page and the current Chub page might be better named. I posted a discussion on the Chub page but it's not yet received any comment. I noticed from the article's revision history that you had made one or more contributions to the page. Consequently, I thought I might profit from your advice at Talk:Chub#Page title if you have a moment or two to spare. Thanks. — Dave (Talk | contribs) 03:46, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] geo stubs
Empty geograpghic stubs such as Great Witchingham are a total waste of time and are liable to get deleted. Instead, work on one village at a time and create a decent little article about the village. -- RHaworth 08:50, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Locks and Weirs on the Lee
Hi there, yeah I thought the same thing, but they did it recently to the River Thames: Locks and weirs on the River Thames, and it's working out ok. I think it just might need extra work sectioning Lock/Weir in each article. I think I've left a few rough edges in as well, which need working out. Let me know your thoughts. Cheers, James
A tag has been placed on Fishers Green, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. [edit] Rye House Kart Circuit
A tag has been placed on Rye House Kart Circuit, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Dougie WII 11:58, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:Salmons Brook DSC00572.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Salmons Brook ,Edmonton, London. DSC00572.jpg. The copy called Image:Salmons Brook ,Edmonton, London. DSC00572.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. [edit] Spaces
Hi, please remember to include a space after all punctuation (full stops, commas etc). I have noticed you have not done so in a few of your contributions. Cheers Nouse4aname (talk) 16:47, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- Also, references are placed directly after punctuation, not before. Nouse4aname (talk) 16:51, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Cromer
Hello Northmetpit
I have checked the Cromer page and the text you point out, and it has already been removed. As for opium poppy’s growing in North Norfolk, I think that was someone having a bit of a dig at the real problem that Cromer has with Heroin Addicts, Of which, unfortunately Cromer seems to have more than its fair share off.Stavros1 (talk) 19:48, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
P.S. I have also being trying to sorce a picture of Wright's Flour Mill for your article on the mill, but have had no luck finding one with a Creative commons license, as of yet.Stavros1 (talk) 19:48, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi Arthena. Sorry to bother you. I have added infobox to Rockland St. Mary every thing OK apart from a large white space that has appeared. How can I close up the space? Thanks Northmetpit (talk) 14:31, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Northmetpit. If you click on 'edit this page' at the article you will see there are 5 empty lines under the infobox code. You should remove 4 of these empty lines, and it will look fine :). Arthena(talk) 17:14, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Cromer Pier
Hello Northmetpit
Your addition to Cromer Pier about its use in the media. I think, but am not certain that the pier was also used in the Drama ‘All the kings Men’ starring David Jason (born David John White in Edmonton) which was about the Disappearance of a Sandringham troop of the Norfolk Regiment in the 1st world war. I think it was also used in the Dram-Doc Murder Rooms: The Dark Beginnings of Sherlock Holmes which was made a few years ago about Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Hello Northmetpit
- Can I point you to the discussion on the talk page of User:RHaworth and ask you if you have an opinion on the subject of county High points as we need a consensus on the subject. Many thanks Stavros1 (talk) 19:30, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Lee locks
Hi NMP - I tumbled upon your Pickett situation, and while I was at it created a couple of extra lock articles to create a chain up to Enfield. [edit] Multiple minor edits
Hi Northmetpit, many thanks for your edits to Epping Forest. I've noticed, however, that you have made many small changes and submitted them as individual edits. This makes it more difficult to check the validity of your additions and changes. Could I suggest that, in future, you make these updates as one large edit (using the preview button if necessary) and/or mark minor changes as such? Thanks, Lancevortex (talk) 14:45, 8 May 2008 (UTC).
[edit] Speedy deletion of Waltham Town Lock
A tag has been placed on Waltham Town Lock requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. RavichandarMy coffee shop 11:39, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
