[edit] Cleanup

I have added some information to try and give this article a foundation to add on to without resorting to the POV stuff that was here before. I got rid of the most blatant POV and superfluous content, but it still needs work. -L. Pistachio 08:23, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] nPOV

Anyone else take issue with the POV? 67.77.145.15 10:31, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I too have found the article to be slightly off of the neutral point of view even though I am a 2006 graduate of North Central!

[edit] Very unobjective, changed wording

I also changed the fact that it's not their symphonic orchestra that is well known, but their symphonic band, Wind Ensemble, not to be confused with their second tier band, Symphonic Band.

[edit] marrie john collins

are you sure that's a real person?

[edit] The history source

What's a 'definite source' and is this source verifiably 'definite' ? Maybe the writer meant 'definitive'. Is it verifiably 'definitive'? Is this a another POV issue? I think so. Wikivek 03:19, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Symphony Orchestra

This is now a well-known orchestra, to correct the above person who stated not so. The orchestra has an abundance of state wins, the second-most in the state, outperforming the top band. Last year the orchestra also qualified as one of the top 50 orchestras in the country for an award given out by the organization that hosts the Grammys. Just to clarify.

I plan to add information regarding academics but it will be very incomplete and mostly reflect my own time at NC.

[edit] References

I've added cites for most of the notable alumni list (this should hopefully make it easier to catch drive-by additions) - there should be more references in the rest of the article too —Random832 17:38, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Marc Summers

I have removed:

from the "Notable Alumni" section because I cannot find any reliable sources. IMDB, tv.com, and nndb all say the same, but they aren't reliable sources because of user-created content. His own homepage does say he is from Indianapolis, but not what high school. So, in order to have a completely cited list, I've moved this here. If anyone can find any verification feel free to put it back. —Random832 22:04, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

I have added:

back into the "Notable Alumni" section. If you go to the NCHS Alumni "Hall of Fame" webpage (http://www.nchsalumni.com/list.htm) you will see that he graduated in 1970 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1993. —Preceding unsigned comment added by IndyDevil (talk • contribs) 18:36, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for finding that page. I never came across it in looking for these.—Random832 18:56, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Gulde's book

Does anyone have a copy of this book? It might be a good source to add some history and stuff other than sports and musical achievements to balance out the article. —Random832 19:26, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
