Nicola Amoruso (born in Cerignola, Foggia, August 29, 1974) is an Italian football player who plays as a striker for Serie A side Reggina Calcio. His nicknames are piede caldo (Hot Foot) and Dinamite.

Amoruso grew up in the Sampdoria youth system, and made his Serie A debut on December 12, 1993 (Inter-Sampdoria 2-0). He has also played with Fidelis Andria, Padova, Juventus, Perugia, SSC Napoli, Como, Modena, and Messina. He has been at Reggina since 2005, and despite rumours linking him to Fiorentina, has stated he would prefer to stay in Reggio Calabria. However, on the 6th June 2008, he transferred to Lazio for 3 million €.

He was the unused member of the Italy Olympic team that won the 1997 Mediterranean Games.
He also won the 1996 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship.
