Subsequent stories rewrote the information. In this case it was a limited series entitled "Hobgoblin Lives", about 8 years ago now. Timrollpickering 01:40, 25 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Ned Leeds was the main suspect when the Green Goblin's identity was still a secret

Is there any evidence for this? It's been a while since I've read the stories but I can't recall much that really pushed Leeds as a suspect - the only suspect investigated (and cleared) was Frederick Foswell. It does, however, seem likely he was Ditko's choice (see the quote on Green Goblin) but I think someone may have over extrapolated the details on the Spidey Kicks Butt article at http://www.spideykicksbutt.com/SquanderedLegacy/SquanderedLegacyPart1.html Timrollpickering (talk) 00:28, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
