[edit] Removed owner information.
Given as [myg0t]g0d is not listed in their member roster anymore, I feel it is inaccurate to call him the owner. Member RosterQ T C 04:42, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

- Pehaps he goes by a different name on their forums? --Android Mouse 02:57, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- His name used to be on the roster, but he can now be affiliated with another group. Q T C 04:47, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- I concur, he was kicked out of the group over a year ago and no longer a member. Not listed on members list even as cited --Edge127 13:32, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- Kicked out of the group he founded, why? Did he not own the domain or have control over the website or did he just give it up? --Android Mouse 23:32, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- A screenshot of an old forum post explaining it can be found here. Edge127 02:32, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the screenshot, an interesting read. --Android Mouse 18:57, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- I saw g0d's Myspace once. Even he confirms there that he no longer is part of myg0t. - XX55XX 22:07, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- Ha wow what a coincidence! just reading through the post and i noted the screenshot at the bottom it, thats me and my mate complaining about the server freezing lol - The Shinobi —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.20.25.169 (talk) 15:31, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Using semi-popular terminology
Yeah, I think someone may be taking the whole "consensus" thing a bit too far. Ah well. Does anyone object to changing "game raging" (a term I have never seen used) to "griefing" (which is the article it links to)? Gundato 04:29, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- I've got no objection to either wording. The myg0t website although uses the term "raging" exclusively. --Android Mouse 05:22, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Initiation section
I've removed this text from the article:
- Myg0t "initiaton" consists of the hopeful baking a cake with "myg0t owns me" written on it, taking a picture with their face next to the cake (whilst wearing a party hat), and taking another picture of themselves eating it. The two pictures are then posted on the myg0t forums in a thread titled "my cake for myg0t" where it will be judged and ridiculed by myg0t members and non-myg0t members alike. Applicants who are of Asian or African heritage will be ridiculed even further and not be allowed into myg0t, as well as banned from the site. "Cake bakers" who are considered worthy are allowed into myg0t as second class members and are put in the roster under "[myg0t] Cake Bakers" where they will be hazed for a period of time then kicked out.
because it is uncited at the moment and I feel it is a tad biased. If you can cite this, add the information back. Normally I wouldn't remove something like this but this article has a long deletion history and I'm trying to avoid it getting deleted again. --Android Mouse 02:24, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- The cake baking part can be cited to the recruiting page but as for the ridicule and other parts, I don't think you'll find a citation for it. Q T C 07:05, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Links to article scans
Links to article scans don't seem appropriate to me. WP:EL indicates that links to external sites hosting copyright violations are not appropriate, and that is what these scans constitute (note that I am not impugning anyone ... I'm simply saying that, as far as I know, they are copyvios). Could the articles be used as sources in the text, or simply listed as references (as they clearly were, specifically when this article was at WP:DRV) (without links to scans)? --Iamunknown 02:04, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Cheating
Somebody needs to verify the "Cheating" section with reliable sources. Otherwise, it sounds like an attack. Corvus cornixtalk 18:11, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
Nobody addressed my concerns in this section, so I have removed it. Corvus cornixtalk 18:54, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Myg0t & GNAA
OMG LOLOLOLOL
cheick this out:http://www.myg0t.com/?rage=about As you can see, there is this, that GNAA has a wikipedia article, and myg0t does not! FUNNY how it changed ? Ha ha ha ha ~~¨~ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.149.246.19 (talk) 12:21, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Other Myg0t Attack fronts
I've been around for mygot invasions twice on an irc channel and associated site, and on a different channel (flooding and trolling in the channels in large numbers). There have been numerous events of raging on forums as well, usually involving flooding, posting shock images or raging.
I had expected to see something more about these types of attacks. If anyone is willing to do some research until I have a chance to it'd be great, and with better variety given multiple searchers.
That said, I think it's a significant portion I feel this article needs addition of. Viper168 (talk) 09:12, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
