The Mozambique national football team, nicknamed the Mambas, is the national team of Mozambique and is controlled by the Federação Moçambicana de Futebol. They have never qualified for the World Cup finals. Eusebio, considered Portugal's best footballer of all time and one of the world's best as well, Carlos Queiroz, assistant manager of Manchester United F.C and former Portugal and Real Madrid manager, and Abel Xavier were born in Mozambique.
