Monday Night Soccer is the new Irish eircom League of Ireland football highlights show that will be broadcast on RTÉ Two during the 2008 season. The show has already gained notability by being broadcast at the earlier time of 8 p.m. as opposed to the graveyard slot occupied by its TV3 predecessor, eircom League Weekly. The first edition was broadcast on Monday March 10, 2008. In a television advertising campaign to promote the new programme, Tony O'Donoghue promised that the show would be on the team bus, in the dressing room and even on the field. Presenters also include Con Murphy with Roddy Collins, Richard Sadlier and Paul Lennon.
