Added info about how the Spanish "recycled" the old Mixtec/Zapotec buildings to help further conversions (taken from what I read in a Lonely Planet Guide) and I added some of my own photos to better demonstrate some elements. Bobak 04:44, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

Per other sites in Mesoamerica where there is a nearby modern settlement with the same or similar name to the archaeological site, it will be desirable to separate out into two articles - one for the arch. site and the other for the contemporary, living settlement. Hopefully will get around to doing this (as with a few others) soon, but if not anyone is of course welcome to do so (or alternatively, raise objection beforehand).--cjllw | TALK 13:41, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
