[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Frederic Chopin

Project was proposed for merger with Wikipedia:WikiProject Composers some months ago, with little interest expressed one way or another. As it stands, the first member listed has had only one edit since October, and the second announced that he was leaving wikipedia in April and has not since returned. Project's dreams of working with Mutopia and Project Gutenberg seem to have never gotten off the ground, and project development beyond that point is minimal. WikiProject Composers also covers all the relevant content related to Chopin. The sole "active" member of the project, whose first and only edit since October was earlier this month, will be notified of this discussion, but that's no guarantee s/he'll respond or even be aware of the discussion. • Comment I would like suggest that instead of deleting the Wikiproject, we classify it as historical or something similar; just in case someone decides to restart it. nat^tang 08:11, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

• Userfy I'm not sure that there is enough here to justify {{historical}} and merger is just a way of delete and redirect in this case because there's nothing here that Composers would likely want.--Doug.^{(talk • contribs)} 02:13, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
• Comment I am the "active" member of the project. The work on the project never went past the initial planning. Nowadays I don't have time to work on it. I suggest it to be deleted, but to keep the idea somewhere if someone wants to restart it.Chopinhauer 19:54, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
