Talk:Milkshake (song)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'd like to know the source for this "The answer is that "milkshake" refers to her hip movement as she demonstrates in the music video. As for bringing "the boys to the yard", the "yard" is simply a reference to the dance floor."

- There isn't a source. And I'm pretty sure Kelis said in an interview that the "milkshake" represents a woman's sex appeal in general. Voodoo4936 15:51, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

- There is also the idea that the term "milkshake" is at least tangentially connected to the jiggling of female breasts, since they are known to produce milk. SWalkerTTU 18:12, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
I think the article should detail more precisely the interpretation for the term "milkshake". I think it's a masturbatory hand job for a male, with his semen being the milk and the hand the shake; after all, I don't think the boys in the yard would really be too interested in whether her breasts jiggling are better than someone else's,as suggested above. A hand job, on the other hand, is more beneficial to a gentleman. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.105.244.18 (talk • contribs)

Apparently the term "milkshake" applied to the song has many meanings. Once I saw on MuchMoreMusic's Uncovered that the milkshake represented "Kelis's enviable sexual abilities" or something like that, and I saw somewhere else that the yard is the bed.
